Marissa Korbel writes essays, memoir, and poetry, and regularly interviews for literary journals. She is the current managing editor of The Rumpus where she has written a monthly column, The Thread, since 2017. She also curated and edited October 2019's theme month, On Monsters, for The Rumpus. She works as a public interest attorney, supporting campus and minor sexual assault survivors. From 2013-2015, she produced, and co-hosted the popular Dirty 30-Something podcast.
