Marissa Korbel writes essays, memoir, and poetry, and regularly interviews other writers for literary journals. She created and writes a monthly column, The Thread, for The Rumpus. She also curated and edited October 2019's theme month, On Monsters,for The Rumpus. She works as a public interest attorney, supporting campus and minor sexual assault survivors. From 2013-2015, she produced, and co-hosted the popular Dirty 30-Something podcast.

Marissa's essays have been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Guernica, Bitch Magazine, The Manifest Station, and the critically-acclaimed anthology, Burn it Down (Seal Press, 2019). To see all of her writing in one place, click here.
