Marissa Korbel writes essays, memoir, and poetry, and regularly interviews authors and artists for literary journals and events. She is an editor at large at The Rumpus where she wrote a monthly column, The Thread, from 2017-2020. She also curated and The Rumpus' theme month, On Monsters, featuring essays by Lidia Yuknavitch, Jude Doyle, Aubrey Hirsch, Ira Sukrungruang, and others.
